Gas Forum – the meeting place for leaders, experts and innovators in the gas industry
From 7 to 10 October 2025, St. Petersburg will host the 14th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF), which will traditionally bring together leading experts, market leaders and key players in the gas community. The event will be held at three venues: the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Center, the Hilton St. Petersburg Expoforum Hotel, and the new business space, Lakhta Center.
The Forum program includes more than 110 events. Topics will include geological exploration, gas production and transportation, underground storage, processing and liquefaction, as well as issues of international cooperation, sustainable development, and digital transformation of the industry. This year, the program will be supplemented by a thematic section dedicated to legal regulation in the gas industry.

The Russian part of the Unified State List of Scientific Publications – the White List – has been approved.
As of 9 September 2025, the Russian part of the list includes 3,120 journals:
- first level – 634 journals,
- second level – 705 journals,
- third level – 916 journals,
- fourth level – 865 journals.

SPIGF 2025: New Horizons and Technologies of the Gas Industry
On October 7 through 10, 2025, Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg is hosting the 14th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, hereinafter referred to as SPIGF, which is one of the key events of the industry both in Russia and in the world in general.
During the years of its existence, the Forum has become a respected and reliable platform to discuss collaboration issues of the gas industry. SPIGF is a place to make important partnership agreements, which result in launch and implementation of new large-scale initiatives.
Among the Forum participants are representatives of federal and regional authorities; managers, chief engineers and technologists of Russian and international gas companies; representatives of leading Russian industrial companies, specialised unions and associations, as well as young specialists and students of industry-oriented universities.

Articles are being accepted for the 4th issue of the journal Actual Problems of Oil and Gas (Higher Attestation Commission, C2).
The submission deadline is 15 November 2024.
