Gas Forum – the meeting place for leaders, experts and innovators in the gas industry
From October 7 to 10, 2025, St. Petersburg will host the 14th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF), which will traditionally bring together leading experts, market leaders, and key players in the gas community. The event will be held at three venues: the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Center, the Hilton St. Petersburg Expoforum Hotel, and the new business space, Lakhta Center.
The Forum program includes more than 110 events. Topics will include geological exploration, gas production and transportation, underground storage, processing and liquefaction, as well as issues of international cooperation, sustainable development, and digital transformation of the industry. This year, the program will be supplemented by a thematic section dedicated to legal regulation in the gas industry.
The main event of the Forum will be the plenary session “Gas Market 2025–2035: New Contours in the Context of Transformation”.
For the first time, the PMGF business program will include a Strategic Session on the Development of the Continental Shelf. Youth Day will be held in the format of the Natural Gas & Accelerator International Acceleration Program.
The Expoforum will host a large-scale exhibition of industry technologies, equipment, and services with the participation of 600 exhibitors. An important part of the PMGF-2025 exhibition program will be the corporate exhibition of PJSC Gazprom, which this year is presented under the new name “Gazprom – Territory of Technological Leadership”. Among the novelties of the exhibition section is the collective exhibition “Security of Oil and Gas Industry Facilities”.
The regions of the Russian Federation – Astrakhan, Volgograd, Kirov and Chelyabinsk regions, as well as the Perm Territory – will be represented at the Forum in the format of collective stands.
The Republic of Tatarstan will be the partner region of PMGF-2025. The republic will be represented by two stands: the first will demonstrate the industrial potential of Tatarstan, and the second will reveal its rich national colour, allowing participants and guests to get closer to the cultural heritage of the region.
The Forum will pay special attention to new formats. For the first time, the program will feature the #PROLight Lecture Hall, where meetings with experts will address topics such as leadership, the prospects for the gas industry, and the interaction between industry and culture. The PMGF will also host the Oil and Gas 5.0 competition, aimed at identifying effective digital projects by enterprises.
In honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, guests will be shown the exhibition “Gasification of Leningrad – the battle after the war”, dedicated to the restoration of the city's energy infrastructure.
The Forum will feature a Business Contact Center, where major market leaders will hold talks with potential suppliers and contractors.
The Forum is being held with the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the Government of St. Petersburg.
