DETERMINATION OF POROSITY AND PERMEABILITY OF A POROUS MEDIUM BY MEANS OF STRUCTURING OF DISINTEGRATED QUARTZ SAND BY POLYMER USING THE “IPNG-PLAST 2” TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

The paper presents the new data on the structures and parameters of the porous medium of the artificial core samples that imitates the porous medium of a near-wellbore zone. The data was gotten by micro-computed tomography (microCT) before and after the structuring of the artificial core samples by polymer using the “IPNG-PLAST 2” technology.

Keywords: weak formations, transfer of mechanical impurities (sand production), chemical binding, polymeric composition, core samples, reservoir porosity and permeability.
